TV show autoplay skips an episode

Hi,

Yesterday I got an update of the Plex app on my Android TV (some 4K Philips TV, I don’t know how to find out the app version number). Since then, skipping to the next episode has become buggy. I have found three scenarios:

  1. An episode ends and I let it run, the end screen shows up with a countdown to the next episode. Then, the next episode is skipped and it starts playing the episode after that. (so I just finish episode 1, and it then starts playing ep 3).
  2. I press the skip button during an episode, it then also skips forward two instead of one episode
  3. I press the back button near the end of an episode to trigger the end screen, and then click OK to start playing the next episode. This works as expected.

Am I doing something wrong?

This has been happening to me for what seems like at least a year now (android TV/fire TV/android)

Lol when I click the back button, it goes to the episode I originally started. Like if I watch 5 hit back and resume, it doesn’t refresh to the last episode I was on. It plays the one I played 5 times ago. Equally as frustrating let me tell you.
