Half of the time I use my chromecast over plexconnect simply because it has the ability to play on episode after another. This would be especially nice if it supported Plex "Shuffle" mode.

I love this feature of the Netflix client (No, not that it makes you fall asleep) and also the PBS Kids app on the Apple TV. I was really hoping that PlexConnect can do the same thing. The visual affect is really good on the PBS Kids app. I only noticed it on Netflix this morning when playing a show for the kids but will look more closely at it in the coming days.
it has been discussed here a few times and the developers have yet not decided to implement it due to the reason institute is talking about.. i would personally also love this function, i have about 2500 music videos and a continuous play function while having a party would be nice... would be an awesome function to be able to choose in the settings...
i have no idea how to implement this myself otherwise i would have had this along time ago.. maybe someone else know how?

The Plex Web App already implements this, so it would be reasonable to add this to PlexConnect I guess.
...as long as there's an option to disable it in the Settings.
Or even an option for auto pay next X number of episodes. And if it handles 0 as off it would work for everyone.
It should probably be handled the same way that Plex handles it on the web and in the iOS apps. There are separate buttons for "Play All" and "Play Shuffled" that put it into the continuous mode. Playing a single episode does not cause the next one to start.
well if the function is already there, it shouldent be that hard to call it you would think :P

Airplay itunes playlists or just shuffle all in home sharing on the atv? I would like this for tv shows/movies but for music i don’t see this being a issue since atv has built in itunes capability. I personally use a airport express and a denon amp that has multi-zone capabilities. I just use any old ios device with home sharing to load my playlists or I can just shuffle all my tunes and it works fine for me.

its not the sound i am after, but the picture aswell due to the fact that it is music videos?
and 98% of them are not native playable cause they are not mp4..
therfore a plexconnect option would be the right way to go

Why not just implement the feature and have a prompt for next episode.
This is a great feature and I would love for it to be implemented.

I would like to see a play all, continuously random content playing option or something of that nature. Best thing to do is give the pros time to see if its even possible to develop a way to work these ideas out. Im sure if there is a possible way it will be implemented in due time.
