Arggg.
My Rasplex is working great for playback from server on a local LAN. However, I’ve got audio problems when playing back remotely.
The RasPlex connects to the remote server (the same one as I’ve tested locally) just fine. I get audio from GUI sound effects, TV themes, etc - so it’s not a local audio issue.
When I playback shows, I generally get audio the first time I open any file. Subsequently, there is no audio from any file that I try to play. If I reboot, I get the same pattern.
Any suggestions very welcome.
Sounds like you’ve enabled audio passthrough for audio codecs your system does not support.
Thanks, but I do not have audio passthrough enabled.
However, I did discover a fix last night. If I set the audio to a fixed 44KHz, everything works.
Note that the problem is otherwise intermittent. I can play a show ten times, and perhaps 3-4 times it will work, and the others there will be no audio. With the above setting, it plays every time.

Sounds like your system doesn’t support anything but 44KHz and possibly below. Glad you figured it.out.
