Greetings, first off a huge thanks to all the devs/contributors who worked to make Plex/RasPlex an excellent solution. I've been using Plex for a while on numerous devices in my home for general media streaming and it behaves beautifully. Recently I decided to put audio in my Kitchen using RasPlex, a PI (headless), an amp and a pair of recessed speakers. Figuring I would name this device something like "Kitchen-Music", we could direct audio to that device via an iPad, iPhone, etc. So I bought two Raspberry PI model B units and downloaded RasPlex 0.2.2. Setup was a breeze and it was up on no time. Now the problem.
- Used RasPlex 0.2.2 to two different Pi units, same result as above
- Used each release starting with 0.1.35 going forward on both PI units, same result as above.
- Tried doing the http://:32400/system/players//playback/Stop (also Pause, Play, etc), same results as above. setVolume?level=XX does work, though.
- I've looked through the settings, but I don't think it a setting considering the volume works and movie control works perfectly.
What I'm running:
- PMS Version 0.9.8.4.125 on Ubuntu Linux 10.04LTS Server
- 2x Raspberry PI Model B, Wired Ethernet, Static IP address, RasPlex 0.2.2
- 3x Windows Media Center on Windows 7, Wired Ethernet, Static IP address, Plex Client
- 2x Apple iPad2 with latest Plex Client
- 2x Apple iPhone5 with latest Plex Client
- 1x Apple iPhone4 with latest Plex Client
- 2x Lenovo Android Tablets with latest Plex Client
- 1x Switch - Cisco Catalyst 2960 (WS-C2960S-24PS-L)
- 1x Wireless AP - Cisco Aironet 1242AG
Thanks!
