No cricket on the UK Channel 4 EPG or More4

I am trying to record the Cricket on Channel 4 in the UK tomorrow, how do I do this if it does not appear on the Underpowered by Plex EPG, no cricket for me :sob: :cricket_bat_and_ball:

we feel your pain.

You might like to know that @markcs has a script right now that pulls 24 hours of EPG from the HDHomeRun itself. You can get it here . Note it’s the hr_epg.pl script you want to use. The others are Freeview Australia. It’s great in a pinch and may help you out tomorrow. …you will need to delete your DVR and re-install it to read the generated file though.

Thanks will give that a try, wish that Plex would just use an EPG provider that worked when it was changed at short notice, they might want to look at Gracenote going forward :smile:

and I have asked for this before, as well as lot of other forum users, why can we not just pick a channel on our DVR and manually set a start and stop time to record it?

Probably going to give this a miss, though Plex employees should look at the whole thread and test a replacement EPG before inflicting it on users.

Just doing a Full Refresh of the EPG Underpowered by Plex to see if the Cricket appears and that I can record it tomorrow, not holding out much hope :sob:

Completed the scan, no Cricket for me from Plex, I have no way of recording the UK Channel 4 and UK More 4 Cricket, as it does not appear in your useless EPG :sob:

…for what it’s worth, Channel 4 is ridiculously wrong anyway. I can see it, but it thinks tomorrow is The Simpsons and “Sunday Brunch” when the cricket is on.

More 4 is no better which is wrong all day…

Managed to watch it, but not to record it via Plex, as most of the morning was missing from the Channel 4 EPG.
