With the updated Roku app, I seem to have lost the option to “Delete” shows in some cases. For example, I have a recording setup to grab the NBC Nightly News each evening, and usually after I watch it, I just manually delete it. The option to delete seems to be missing now. Strangely, the option seems to appear in other libraries though.
I found it this morning behind the ‘three dots’ button, which is far less convenient than it used to be.
Everything about this terrible new update is “far less convenient than it used to be” it’s absolutely ridiculous.
It’s not behind the three dots either. See these two pics.

It’s on the episode screen. That is the show as a whole screen.
I found the delete, but when I delete a recording the Plex app crashes or exits back to the main Roku home. Then you have to reenter Plex after every delete.
Roku 9.3.0 build 4194
Plex Server 1.19.5.3112 (linux mint)
Plex Roku app 6.6 build 8
Did the item actually delete?
This will happen if you navigated to the episode from the show’s screen. We will have this fixed in the next update.
I just tried it on my Roku and YES it did delete the episode. It wasn’t easy finding the Delete option. You would think that there would be something a bit easier to find. Also, how well was this update tested? The crashing after every delete is something that should have easily been found in pre-release testing.
Yep, the crash-on-delete thing is happening to me, I’ll be happy to see that fixed.
I like the new episode display screen, it has information I couldn’t see before (like the date of the recording, which was off of the right edge before and not visible). The ‘show’ screen seems a bit excessive when there is only one episode in the library, but it’s tolerable. A number of my recorded shows don’t have ‘show’-level posters, though.
IMO, the app shouldn’t take me back to a “Show” screen upon completion of watching an episode. It should drop me on the Episode screen where I can quickly delete the episode.
