No HDR support for iOS app

Server Version#: 4.145.1
Player Version#: 2025.13.0
After updating my iPad (and iPhone) app to the newest version every 4K HDR video keeps transcoding (only tonemapping). These are regular web DLs that I know have worked before. The information in the downright corner when playing the video states 4K HDR. I have checked the normal settings, everything is set to max on audio and video. I’m not sure what to look for in the logs. HDR works fine for my Shield.
It’s the newest iPad Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max.

Tautulli says this:

  • CONTAINER
    Converting (MKV → MKV)

  • VIDEO
    Transcode (HEVC (HW) 4k Dolby Vision/HDR10 → H264 (HW) 4k SDR)

  • AUDIO
    Direct Stream (English - EAC3 5.1)

  • SUBTITLE
    None

Here is an outtake of my iPad logs: 04/30/2025 22:00:08:441 [UserMe] INFO [DownloadsMaintenance] "refresh_metadata" - Pastebin.com
It seems to be rejecting DV Profile 5 - which the iPad def supports? Also, the file should also include an HDR10 fallback which I would assume should be used instead of tone mapping to SDR.

OK. So my bad for not looking closely enough on the update list. I assume the «HEVC 10 bit hardware decoding fix» is what fixed this. It’s all good now in 2025.14.0
