When playing music there is no way to navigate either skipping, scrolling forward, playing next etc. Clicking the middle main button of the Apple TV remote has no reaction nor clicking right or left…so no navigation what so ever. Swiping up works to show the playlist/tracks but that’s about it. Pause and Play buttons do work.
Has nobody noticed this major flaw? There is no way to navigate when playing music via the Apple TV app. It used to work great!

What happened to the ability to use the Apple remote to scroll forward, backwards, navigate when playing music? This is such a huge problem. No problems on iOS. Absolutely impossible on the Apple TV. If you trying to sell Plex Pass for users that want Plex Amp. I have posted about this on the Apple TV forum but it’s being ignored.
Both swiping and clicking left/right let me jump to the previous/next track respectively.
It took me some time but I can jump along the timeline – though it’s a bit tricky… if you click the play button, you should notice a vertical line indicating the current playback position. If you swipe/click left/right while this is showing, you can navigate to a specific point in a song.
I’m far from saying this is great… just saying it can be achieved.
Thanks for looking into this. I updated to the latest beta and it now kind of works withyour suggestions. it’s an abysmal experience. Terrible actually. Why did they change this navigation technique? You should simply select the track you want to play then click in the middle dial to navigate like it was before. If you do it this way it pauses the music while you navigate. That’s not good at all. If you forget to click play then click the middle button it will fly off to the next or previous tracks totally losing your spot in a long mix. I hope it is very much improved. It used to work great!!
