Apple TV music playback controls - bring in line with tvOS?

Feature request - can the music playback controls on Apple TV be changed, to be in line with tvOS and other music apps on the platform?

Right now, we have Plex’s own controls for when the app is on-screen (swipe to skip tracks), but we have the tvOS controls for when the app is off-screen (click at the edge of the remote to skip tracks) - can be really confusing.

Presumably the tvOS controls are beyond Plex’s control, so can Plex’s controls be brought in line with tvOS to avoid confusion?

Couldn’t agree more. It makes no sense for this to function differently to the system defaults and it’s confusing for the user. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve slightly touched the remote unintentionally and the music I was listening to skips to the next track. Or it totally stops playing and won’t resume no matter what I try which always leads me to quit the app entirely and relaunch again).

I agree. I constantly skip forwards and back through the tracks by accident.
