There is a bug in the app on android which forces you to push the Skip Intro-button twice to use it.
The following text is from the forums but describes it perfectly:
“This is a problem that has been a problem for months. The ‘Skip Intro’ button is displayed at the bottom right of the tablet display, touching the button brings up the player controls which shifts the ‘Skip Intro’ button up about an in and a half - which effectively appears that the button is running from the user to prevent being pushed. Touching the button in the new location finally registers and the intro is skipped.” I have tried it on Samsung Note 10 and Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e. It works just fine on IOS
The old batch of users - the ones that identified and reported the issue on DAY ONE of Skip Intro to date have had no effect on Plex whatsoever. It’s like playing Whack-A-Mole 'cause when you touch the screen, the button Moves. It’s a game you can’t win.
Now every new batch of users that identify and report the issue think something different is going to happen.
Best of luck to The New Batch.
The Old Batch gave up some time ago.
This has been resolved in the next version of the Android app (8.15), which is currently in beta.
