No quality settings on the new Apple TV

Hi,

My brother just got the new Apple TV and installed Plex. He called me using Facetime and I tried to help him with the configuration. However, the problem is that we couldn’t find any quality settings within the Plex app, so it defaults to 720P.

Did I look in the wrong place or is it not available yet for the new Apple TV?

You are familiar with ATV? Usually if you set streaming quality to maximum under “video quality”, enable direct play under “Advanced” settings you should not have a problem. You know how to access settings? Bottom left just in case.

There’s been no change to the app to remove that, should still be under settings.

Were you trying to change the quality while watching something? If so and the device was connected through a relay connection, you may not see quality settings. Check your remote access setting to make sure it’s working properly.

Apologies for the late reply. The menu on the left did not show quality settings. However a reinstall of the Plex App did fix the problem.
