No sound when playing certain videos

Hello,

For a few months I have no sound when I try to watch certain videos with Plex on my TV.
The Plex server is on my computer, and the Plex client is on my X8t Android box, which is plugged to my TV.

I am sure that it is not a problem of my X8t, since I can watch videos with sound on YouTube.

It is not a computer problem neither, since I can watch these videos with VLC.

However, if I open these videos from my computer on the Plex server, I have no sound.

I have the last version of Plex, so it is not an update problem.

Could someone help me, please?

Thanks for your message but this section is normally dedicated at support in French :wink: May you check in the player on your X8t box if you can switch to stereo forced for audio ? I would guess it’s definitively the box that is unable to decode multi-channels sound !
