No surprise, Plex match is wrong

Server Version#:all of them
Player Version# Not relevant

Plex has chosen to identify all 176 episodes of Star Trek Deep Space Nine from my collection as Season 9 episodes 1-176. There is no season 9. There NEVER was a season 9. And before anyone feels the need to ask any stupid questions the files are named and nested in the standard fashion. Plex has simply chosen to ignore the fact that they are in separate folders named season 1 through 7.

They match just fine for me. I’m using the TMDB episode ordering.

If you go into your Deep Space Nine, click on the pencil icon, Advanced. What is Seasons set to, Hide or Show?

Same as @napolij , mine show properly in 7 seasons.

I’ll ask the “stupid question”, can you share a screenshot of your folder and file names?

I’ll ask another stupid question: Why would you choose to antagonize people who may want to help you?

I also have all seven seasons of DS9 correctly identified and organized.

I won’t be asking “any stupid question” but I’ll just tell you flat out: you are doing it wrong.

Willing to bet either your folder structure or naming convention is wrong. 99.99% of the time root cause is human error not plex.

Just an FYI for anyone involved in this thread, @CaptStabby went on a nasty rant making personal attacks and disparaging Plex, while not providing any of the naming details we asked for. Their account has been muted/suspended for a period due to that behavior.
