Last night I started having a problem being able to see my media server while using Chrome on iOS and using the app.plex.tv link from plex.tv. Every library says it is unreachable. I can get to the libraries from the Plex IOS app’ I can get to it from the Apple TV, etc. it is only from within a browser that it doesn’t work (I have now checked it on Safari and also Windows PC browsers and all are broken).
I use the browser the do a lot of configuration and such that I can’t do as easily in the app.
So, is the browser based app.plex.tv broken for anyone else? I can’t get it to work on any device and any browser.
The app is working just as expected for me.
Your server appears to be online as well.
Are you perhaps using the profile sync of Chrome? Maybe a rogue browser add-in which got synced to all your devices?
Have you tried the incognito mode of Chrome?
I just tried “insecure Connections” and that worked fine but it just happened one evening. odd
Now, I turned off the “insecure” and made it secure and we are back and everything is working. Very odd but “oh well”. Thanks for the “assistance”!
Check for the notorious “DNS rebinding protection” issue.
