Not Authorized to view shared library

I am using Plex on my Linux Mint desktop and I reset my password due the the security issues. A friend has Plex Pass and shared his library with me. I reclaimed my server but it keeps saying I am Not Authorized to view his library even though under Manage Library Access it says that I have access to his library. I went through the steps to edit the Preferences.XML file and restarted my server but it still keeps telling me that I am Not Authorized to view his library. Can anyone offer some suggestions? Thank you

Thank you for the link. I just sent him a message to see what version he is using and to see if he could do the required update. Once I get access I will mark this as Solved. Thanks
