Not finding my Hauppauge Quad Tuner Card

This morning I confirmed that mine is working with a stand alone linux DVR (Kaffeine) - channels scan and tv can be watched. Seems like issue is definitely only on the Plex side for me now.

Can someone post a screenshot of where a Hauppauge card shows up in Plex when it IS working?

The wording of the Plex DVR page only refers to network based tuners which makes one think I’m not in the right place when I have an internal card. - Even more confusing to see ‘Devices’ at the top right of the screen.

Plex team, I’d recommend something here to clarify what to do - I’m still not confident it’s where I should be.

@marshalleq no i’m saying this is easier than compiling media_tree yourself.

It shows up after you click ‘dvr setup’. But as we said, there’s 2 different versions, and we’re working on adding support for the other one. Be patient, it will come, as long as it works in Linux, it should (and eventually will) work in Plex too.

Thanks, just making sure as the terminology isn’t exactly exacting.

This is one time I have good faith in plex team. Creating features is something the plex team does with regular awesomeness. :smiley:
