I was also having the same problem and it only started working again after I deleted Plex data from my browser and then disabled and enabled notifications here. But I honestly don’t know the cause
Are you talking of web browser notifications (i.e. those small boxes which pop up on your computer desktop)
or about notifications per email?

I was talking about the email notifications but I tried what CostaHT suggested, i.e. disable/enable notifications and that worked! That was enough, didn’t need to delete Plex data from browser.
