Server Version#: 1.26.2.5797
Player Version#:
For about a month I’ve been having problems with updates, I get a notification there’s a new update and to install it manually (I’m running CentOS 7.9) but when I click the link for a new update it downloads the update that I’m running. I’ve logged into the downloads site and it still gives me 1.26.2.5797. Is anyone else experiencing this? Is there a solution.
Thanks
-Bob
Go to Settings → Server_Name → General.
Do you see an option for Server Update Channel? If so, set it to Public.
Plex should eventually clear the notice that an update is available. Stopping / re-starting Plex Media Server should also clear the notice.
1.26.2.5797 is the current public version.
1.27.0.5897 is the current beta/Plex Pass version.
Without a Plex Pass, the Plex website will not let you download a beta version of Plex Media Server.

Thanks, that did it. I’m now showing up to date.
Cheers
