My Plex server shows that I am on ver 1.9.7.4460 the “check for update” button does nothing when clicked but when I click on “what’s new” it is giving me details for Version 1.10.1.4561 . running server on windows 10 os
Do you have your update channel set to public or Plex Pass?

Not sure why you aren’t getting notified of the update. Can you download the update from this website and do a manual update? Just close the Plex Server application and run the installer, then start the server application when finished.
