Nothing seems to play at all- especially MTV. Just get an error message

Are you watching live content through the DVR and a cable card? Have you checked if your cable company has encrypted these channels? Plex does not support encrypted channels.
I am using the plex app on Fire Stick. I’ve paid for plex subscription.
When clicking on an episode, I get error message
What are you watching? Are these your own videos from Plex Media Server or the free ad-supported content from Plex? Plex does not carry MTV. What is the error?
I guess I’m not using plex correctly. I simply downloaded the app from my fire stick. Clicked on the app and signed up for a subscription. Searched Real World and tried to play an episode. And get an error message.
You don’t need a subscription to watch content from Plex. These are ad-supported.
Plex does not carry the Real World TV show, so I am unclear what you are getting as a result. Can you provide a photo of your screen before you hit play? What is the error you get when you do try to play?
Is it possible you enabled Plex’s Discover feature? This will let you know if what you searched for is available from another media provider. This only tells you if it is available. You will not be able to watch these items through Plex.
