Notifications only work on my movie library, not on the TV library, all settings are exactly the same! Very frustrating, I get the message in the log identifying the new file, then the notification in the log just says socket close?
Which “Notifications” ?

Sorry for being so vague, the notification is for new media added, works fine for movies and fails for TV series despite everything being the same
A singular, mid-playback, Server log file isn’t very useful – sorry.
It only captures about 5 minutes of elapsed time and we don’t know where in that we’re at.
What will help best here and be definitive,
What I’m looking for, which only happens at startup , is PMS collecting the list of directories to monitor.
If there are more than the Linux default of 8192, and that table size hasn’t been increased, we’ll get an error telling us there’s no space left.
It’s VERY easy to fix (customize) to suit your needs.

so, it detects all the changes etc no problem, the films library it DOES sent a notification, the TV library it doesnt even attempt to send a notification… ps… paying customer here…
…still waiting, any reason why plex is ignoring this issue?
