I have a home media synology server and everything is fine on my apple tv wired to the modem that is wired to the server. When I try to steam from a visio tv in a different part of the house I only get audio unless I make the video quality 360 which sucks. I don’t know how to set the server or plex to play a good video. My internet speed is not the issue as my modem and mesh points are fast and netflix and other apps play on the visio tvs just fine.
I’ve read of transcoder but don’t understand the lingo and effects of the settings. Some of the plex descriptions are a little too cute to be helpful.
