Now Playing area shows 2 users back-and-forth in 1 item box

Player Version#: not sure - these are remote users, each using Chromecast

I am noticing that in the Now Playing area, one item will fade/switch between 2 users’ activities.
It is always between these 2 users. I haven’t seen it do this with any of my other users.

Also note that at the very top, the sever is reporting that i have 3 activities / playbacks going… but truly there are 4.

These 2 users each have their own login, and they are both part of my Home.

I made a recording to show the behaviour. Watch item #3 (the one on the far right.)

Is this because it is grouping them together, because they are each using a Chromecast? Regardless of why, I don’t like it, and I hope this is a feature that can be turned off (I haven’t found an option for this as yet…)

I’ve also noticed this issues happening over the past couple of weeks.

I’ve fixed it before by rebooting the server, but now that doesn’t even seem to fix the issue.

It’s rather annoying since I have discord notifications about streams starting so every time if alternates it makes a new notification. Looks like users have been reporting this issue in various forms for the past four years.

Are Plex devs aware of this bug?
