We have Now Playing - it allows me to see exactly that. But that means if I want to see what folks have been watching I need to stay on Plex/Web 24/7. It would be nice (and I shouldn't think terribly hard) to gather the history of stuff played in a log of some sort, annotated by user/time.
Why, other than to satisfy the voyeur in all of us? Well, I purchase all my movies/TV shows/music hard copy and rip to the server. This info would influence my purchase decisions. With a user/time stamp, I could tell when my bandwidth is being used most, perhaps providing an explanation for poor network performance and avoiding spurious forum complaints about "bugs", as well as letting me know when is not a good time to upload websites/download updates.
I know this probably isn't a wildly popular request - but I also think it should be low-hanging fruit. Then again, I'm not a developer....
