I can reproduce the basic issue both with launcher active as well as stock. Search for a known category name. The categories appear in the result but are missing poster art. All other individual movies found show their poster and can be selected and opened. Selecting any category listed and trying to open it causes the player to crash. In stock form, I get an error message saying it can’t do it and to try again later. With launcher running, it crashes back to the main screen of Plex with no visible message.

Thank you for reporting, we picked up an issue with categories in search results and have opened a ticket for it.

Sorry for a late reply, but this should get fixed with the next app version, 10.22.

Just got the updated version. Categories now load no crash. They still appear to be missing their poster. By default., It uses a cluster of posters from the individual movies, a collage if you will. But I have assigned custom images as posters for each category. Those still don’t show. What I see is just the initial letters of the category name.
