For the purposes of this forum, I do not consider 15Hz to be a working solution. To be honest, I canāt think of many uses beyond some sort of display board where a 15Hz refresh rate would be useful ![]()
A little more poring over chip specs suggests the following:
- RasPi 3b+ and 3a+ both use BCM2837B0, which is identical to BCM2837A0 other than a higher clock rate
- the BCM2837 series is identical to the BCM2836 used in a RasPi 2, besides a move from ARM7 core to ARM8
- BCM2837 supports HDMI v1.3a
As the Raspberry Pi 2 came out on 2015 that takes us back prior to the Kodi article linked above, so I think itās fair to assume that matters havenāt changed. The number of HD audio daughter boards available for the RasPi (I own a PiDAC) suggest that the audio output on the later devices still isnāt capable of 192kHz output.
