NVIDIA Shield TV - Unable to connect securely after reinstalls - please reset server certificate

Hi,

After multiple clean reinstalls of Plex and Plex Media Server on my NVIDIA Shield TV Pro, I’m stuck in a loop:

  • “Unable to connect to server securely” warning
  • Ghost/old server entries
  • Endless spinning/loading in the app
  • Warning triangles on all sections
  • Plex Media Server settings intermittently missing (including Storage Location)

Local access sometimes works briefly, but cloud/remote never stays stable.

You had a deleted server. I completed the removal of it.
Your new server (created 28 minutes ago) is there but not Published (Remote Access enabled one time)

After confirming you enable Remote Access one time (so it publishes with Plex.tv), check what you have pinned and make certain you’re looking at the new instance (same name) instead of still looking at the old.
