Solution for-- Unable to connect to "SHIELD Android TV" securely

Hello comunity,

I need your help, please.
I can’t connect to my server in app.plex.tv.
It is happening after a factory reset of my Nvidia Shield tv pro 2019.
I have tried everything in my power but with no success.
Deleted the server, uninstalled app and server, even done another factory reset-- nothing helps.
Used to work and nothing changed in the router settings.
Someone is recommending that a “reset of my server certificates” will fix the issue-- this is where Plex staff could help but no response from anyone and there is no wzy to contact them.

I would be very grateful if someone could advise me on this or a Plex staff could reset those certificates.

If it’s a new/repaired setup, you won’t see it in the hosted web app. Make sure to finish the server setup using the bundled web app on the Shield‘s local ip address from within the same subnet (http://[Shield IP address]:32400/web)…

Hi tom80H and thanks for your reply.
It is a fresh install after a factory reset (nothing was wrong before, just a clear up).
I have the Nvidia Shield for years now and used Plex from day one as it is a native app. I remember seeing this error in the past but it resolved itself easily and quickly. Now it is a few days since I’m trying to add media but it is nor showing in app.plex
On the Nvidia Shield everything looks ok.

Any ideas?

Please perform these, after a restart of your Shield. (Allow the Shield 5 minutes to fully restart.)
