If i install Nvidia shield on my computer does it increase plex media server performance ?
You cannot install nVidia Shield on your computer.
nVidia Shield is a media player device.
But it is a rather good Plex client. It will in many cases Direct Play the file, so that your server doesn’t have to transcode it.
Plex Media Server used to play 4K videos very well before hard drive failure. I installed new hard drive. But now I don’t know what happened. System not able to play 4K videos, even 1080p HD videos pauses while playing. Same OS. Help me to fix this.
