<If providing server logs please do NOT turn on verbose logging, only debug logging should be enabled>for some reason my plex media server is now taking 10 gigs of data in my nvidia shield any idea,I think it has to do with metadata, but not sure how do I move the files so they are stored externally as servr is run in background not an actual app anymore?
That is old it does not pertain to what we have now that I can understand anyways as there are no settings on bottom left or right on either plex app in nvidia shield or on pc using the plex web app.
I have seen this article but cannot figure out how to move the metadata using it as there is no server settings on shield anymore,
I take it back found settings on app in shield but there is no server row anymore
I was checking with some other users who are on the current PMS beta. The server options of the SHIELD are still available to them (running PMS on a SHIELD, accessing it from the Android TV client on the SHIELD):
in settings using plex on the shield I see nothing that shows internal storage
can you make a small video as to where to find it
where do I download beta from as I am running current plex media server .And then how do I install beta
I found out how to get beta just waiting for it to show up,will have to start all over again but hopefully this will work Thanks for your help will let you know how it goes
The post above wasn’t supposed to imply this was only recently (re-) added or requiring a beta version. Just to point out the support article isn’t outdated.
