I have a TV in my RV and I wish to install a media player. Most of the time I don’t have Wi-Fi access. Is there a player that I could use, maybe add a external drive to it. I saw some Roku Ultra with USB. Will it work? Any other suggestions?
Get a nVidia Shield Pro.
It can run both the Plex server (with a moderately sized media collection) and a decent Plex client.
And if occasionally Plex refuses to work because of a missing internet connection, you can install Kodi as well and fall back to that.
