Old Plex Server Name can't remove

Last week I created a Plex Server on my desktop Workstation added a few 4K Blu Rays. But before I did much work on setting up movies, music etc. I decided to buy a Synology 1019+ NAS for my Plex Media server. On my original setup (my desktop), I created a Plex server named: “DVD Vault”. But when I setup the new NAS, I created a new Plex server named: “PlexFlick”. I tried deleting the old server name but the DELETE option was not showing on the […]. So I uninstalled the Plex software from my desktop. Now the old server name is still showing on my left hand side, but I can’t remove seem to remove it from my Plex Server on my NAS or my Smart TV Player list. I can access the new PlexFlick server just fine, I just can’t seem to remove the old server name that no longer exists. Any help would be appreciated!

Does it appear in the list of Authorized Devices?

https://app.plex.tv/desktop#!/settings/devices/all

If so, delete it. It should then disappear from your clients. You may have to logout/login on the clients.

SPOT ON. I built a new rig and changed my Plex server and had the same issue. Deleting the “old server” from the Authorized Devices" totally fixed it.
