Old server refusing to disappear and breaking Plex iOS notifications

Hey guys,

At the beginning of the year I moved to a new server, and still to this day the old server shows up in the iOS app - it doesn’t show up on Plex web though. This latent server has broken iOS notifications the entire time.

Things I’ve tried:

  • Reset Home customisations
  • Made sure the old server is removed from Authorised Devices
  • Waited months to see if it sorted itself out

Any tips on how to correct this?

There is currently only one server connected to your account.
So this duplicate should go away after you either

  • Switch User back and forth
  • log out and log back in on the iOS app

As a last resort you can try removing the app, rebooting the phone, then re-adding the app.

Yep, reinstalling fixed it.

Feel like an idiot for not trying that.
