I have some older computers set up as plex clients, they are slimmed down windows 7 PCs... They work alright but can tend to be slow. (I chose win7 for driver support). I have it all set up so from the moment windows loads, all you see is the PLEX logo. (boot animation, desktop wallpaper, then finally the actual program) Is there an easier way to go about doing this and possibly make the computers faster? All I need is it set up so that my roommates can push the power button on each computer and moments later be able to access pmc/pht,,, are there plans for some sort of linux designed to boot directly to plex?
These computers are so old the only use they have are as plex clients.
