Im a plex pass user and i cant get the On-Demand Subtitle working. I have all the required versions. can some one help me?
from what I understand this feature is still being rolled out.
once it’s active/enabled for you / your client, when selecting the subtitle in the apps pre-play screen (or during playback) there’ll be a More... button at the very end of the list of subtitles (might require some scrolling).
hmm. ok, i thought that this feature was already on for plex pass users.

Don’t forget to quit and restart your Plex server.

It will be rolled out to all Plex Pass users over the course of the following days. Maybe it is already acvtivated on your account, maybe not.
You can only tell after you restart your Plex server and look out for the ‘More…’ item on the preplay page of any video.
And you have to use the hosted web app for now https://app.plex.tv/desktop

I see the More… and also see the new UI for getting subtitles when I click it. When clicking a found subtitle, however the spinner wheel just spins forever on the far right and never completes. Anyone have this issue?
The new “more” when searching for subtitles on a Shield works really well.
3 shows aired in the last 48 hours all found a subtitle and worked perfectly…

Well of course I spoke too soon,
At the moment maybe 30% are getting workable subtitles.
Either no subtitles or 2 or 3 listed and get " Something went wrong when downloading subtitles. Please try again " Tried again many times with same result.
At this stage do not change your previous subtitle downloading habits
