On-screen guide improvements

Some improvements I’d like to see, which I feel would elevate it above the mediocrity out there.

  1. Ability to specify number of channels displayed at once (and therefore adjust the size of the ‘top panel’, or disable it). Six does look rather silly on a big screen.

  2. Ability to specify how many hours the guide spans.

  3. Ability to colour block genres so programmes I’m more likely to be interested in stand out.

  4. Ability to reorder, or hide channels.
