Feature Reqest - Plex Live TV Channel Selection

Hi Is there anyway to make it easier to flip trough channels in the guide. Say if im looking to jump from channel 3 in the guide down to 61 I dont want to have to click down like 30 times. Holding down would be nice/quicker or typing in digits maybe even to get there quicker like an OG TV. Not sure it is possible but figured worth a request.

It appears that the guide was designed as a thought exercise that was not meant to be used by humans in the real world. If you want to look at content in the 2nd week of the guide, you can’t select the day from the dropdown, Instead, we have the natural and “efficient” method of pressing the right arrow 48 times for each day that you want to see. Been like that for 3 years. Unfortunately, it appears that Plex just doesn’t care about the usability of the product.

I agree with both comments here… the TV guide feature is great, but it is REALLY ROUGH to use…
My Wish List (that I can remember off top of my head)

  1. Channel Favorites
  2. Hide channels you don’t want to see, or view only favorites
  3. Reorder channels (like favorites on top?)
  4. Ability to type in a # to go to a channel
  5. See whats currently recording, and has been recorded, and start watching EASILY
  6. Last channel
  7. PIP feature

Can someone help and explain where they hid the scan channels option? All I see now is something called “Channel Matching” and it won’t load.

I know you can hide channels you don’t want in the tuner settings. Maybe you mean something else tho.

while that is an option, I may not always want to hide everything all the time.
