One show causing error in working library

one show in my anime library keeps coming up with an unexpected error occured and i cant’t figure out why. all other shows in library function properly. don’t know where to start and would love some guidance.

If you have one episode in your library which does not play, but all others will, then the obvious conclusion is the file was poorly encoded or is damaged.

If it’s the entire series, but all other content plays, the same conclusion can be drawn but needs verifying.

The first step to resolving is either:

  1. Re-encode one file and see if the problem resolves.
  2. Obtain a different copy of that file and test it (make sure it’s different).

You’ll be able to decide the next course of action based on these simple tests.

i have done that, once i add episode or episodes my library becomes inaccessible.

May I have the server DEBUG logs please ?
I need to see which error PMS is getting.

On my unraid machine, it’s usually permissions when it’s inaccessible.
Linux is very strict. If a file is created by one username, another user can’t read it without that permission being granted. This is what you see folks refer to when you see them talk about 755/644 permissions in Linux. 755 (read everyone) for a folder, 644 is the same thing for files.
