OneDrive: I want to play my OneDrive music on my Plex clients

Hi,

I’m a Plex Pass subscriber. I would like to play my OneDrive music through my Plex clients.

As I understand it, this requires Plex Cloud (rather than Cloud Sync?). Lots of pages say this is possible, including this guide: https://mspoweruser.com/plex-cloud-gains-support-onedrive-dropbox-google-drive/

But I don’t have the option “Plex Cloud” in my left-hand navigation. Am I missing something?

This is a big missing piece for me and would love to get this working. Any help gratefully received.

I’m on the latest server version, 1.14.1.5488.

Plex Cloud was discontinued last fall.

This is what my screen looks like.

Based on the guides, it seems that I should have an option “Plex Cloud” in the left?

Clicking on the “Other Services” link sends me to something about Cloud Sync but I don’t think that supports OneDrive?

Ah right. Thanks a lot. Took me a while to get screen shots, etc. whilst you replied to me.

That’s a real shame. My OneDrive syncing is a pile of … and this was my last hope.

Using rclone:

You can mount your one drive as a drive in windows and then point your local Plex server at it. I believe a fair number of people are already doing this.

Oh, that looks interesting. Thanks very much.

When someone outside the local network plays some movie will it go through my computer? or will it play directly to the other user? Cloud sync did this very well :frowning:

Your computer.
