I am new to plex… I searched the forums and the web as best i could, but could not find a straight answer…
Is there a way to stream music though plex from online music services other than spotify? Apple music… but not what i have synced to itunes… i.e. apple music streaming service. Or google Play music, or Deezer? I have subscriptions to all of these to see if i can get any to work with plex… even if i use the native app for these services and cast the song to plex on chromecast or rasplex… Nothing i try seem to work… And i could not find any channels for this… the itunes channel only plays what i have in my local itunes library that i have synced. The unofficial google play channel just says not responding. and i could find nothing for Deezer… Any suggestions on how to listen to my online steaming services through plex will be greatly appreciated.
If i missed a forum post about this topic i apologize. please point me in the right direction.

No it is not possible due to DRMs being used in those services.
Google Play Music is available as a channel with Plex. That being said, it’s fairly useless to me.
I have tried using it, accessing the PLex Channel through Roku, an Amazon Fire Stick, and a smart Sony Blu-Ray player and the Opera Channel.
No matter which method I use, despite frequent updates to the Plex Media Server and various channel updates on Roku etc, I have never been able to get it to work at any acceptable level.
The interface to Google Play Music through PLex is crippled from the start- key features- adding tracks to a play list do not exist, accessing your Google Music library requires endless scrolling-
Even if you can get past the frustrating interface, the channel is plagued with freezing, and endless library is still loading messages and no playable files messages.
Get past that, and on the rare occasions the channel loads and functions, for some reason any multiple album set presents the tracks in a scrambled play order.
