Seeking on PFK worked perfectly on Kodi 17, but with the move to Kodi 18 there is now a delay when seeking where the video can be blank for a few seconds, and the first few frames of the start of the video can momentarily flash up as well when resuming.
With the latest commits to this forked PFK it seems that seeking is totally broken regardless of version of Kodi. Not sure how to contact this pannal character, or even if they would want to be contacted, they might be maintaining this fork for a very specific reason and don’t plan to merge these changes back to the main repo.
I actually like the Plex for Android app and would use it almost exclusively if Android TV on my Bravia wasn’t such a mess. The app is responsive and video is flawless when I reboot the tv but within 2 or 3 days Plex bogs down, the UI is sluggish, and video starts skipping and stalling. Restarting the app doesn’t help, I have to restart the TV. This doesn’t happen with Kodi, which is why I use PFK most of the time.
PKC looks pretty good, and it’s nice to have choice of skins, but I have several Plex Home users in my household who move between different devices fairly frequently, so there would be issues with syncing watch status etc.
