Only showing 16 or so songs

If I have 100 songs by an artist, PLEX only shows a small number of the songs in the song list. This happens in the PLEX APP for android, and for the web app. Does anybody know if anything can be done about this?

Are you referring to the popular tracks section in the artist view? Tracks are usually grouped by album on that page.

No. The Library tab. After clicking on an artist I click the Play button. Then click the Play Queue icon on the bottom right of the window. This only shows me 23 of all songs by artist.

As the name says… that’s the play queue… not your full track list.
If you started playback on a larger scope (or shuffle), Plex will keep adding more songs as you progress through the queue.

So how do I go about viewing all of the songs from an artist? If I click on Play All, then the queue icon, it still only shows me some of the songs.

You’re displaying your library in Artist mode.
If you open an artist, this will show the individual albums of that artist.

If you want to see all songs, go back to the library home page and switch to Track mode instead. There you can filter the library by that artist using a custom filter… tadaaa… all tracks of that artist. No need to play all to see the library content.

Thanks. But that’s not how media players should work. I have 54k songs. I don’t want to look through all of the songs trying to find the artists and songs I want to play.
