Opensubtitles Agent

I do apologize if this is answered somewhere else on the forums I’ve been trying to locate the right thread to possibly solve my issue but can’t seem to find what I’m looking for.

I have configured opensubtitles.org agent within Plex for both TV shows and movies but it doesn’t seem to work or I’m missing something.

I have created an account on opensubtitles.org and it would appear the agent did find a couple subs (3 to be exact) but that’s it. When I do a search myself for subs I’m missing I do find them manually just not sure why the agent isn’t finding them?

Any help or a point in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.

I seem to be having issues with the opensubtitles agent as well as the local media assets agent. Not sure what to do about fixing it, but at least we are likely not the only ones with issue.

Is there a better alternative to OpenSubtitles for Plex that doesn’t have ads and doesn’t cost a yearly subscription (one off charge would be ok) for a decent service?

I guess Sub-Zero is the best all-in-one solution for Plex subtitles there is. I hope Plex is going to incorporate it into the official Plex server.

It’s an official plug-in now in the sense you can find it in the directory.
