I have a problem regarding opensubtitles.org and fetching subtitles. I get an error then I’m trying to download subtitles, “Can not read subtitles” and when I look under Setting ang Agents I see that I don’t even have Opensubtitles.org under Movies - Plex Movie(Legacy). I find myself more of a User then an Expert so maybe there is something simple thats missing and that why I can’t see Opensubtitles.org as an Agent so I need some help in finding out what I need to do to get this to work again. I’m grateful for any tips. I’m using version 1.41.1.9057 of Plex server.
There is nothing you can do. It won’t work as it was before, ever. The old agents are no longer serviced and will be removed in a few months. Since the opensubtitles agent was broken already (due to API changes over on opensubtitles.org), it will no longer be shown.
The only way to use opensubtitles is now like this: https://support.plex.tv/articles/subtitle-search/
Thank you for your respons but I can’t see any setting that I should make for this new On-Demand Subtitle Search to work. So maybe you can give me a tip of that might be wrong when I’l get
What the actual heck. Thanks for posting that, I wondered why I couldn’t find the open subtitles.com setting anywhere.
