I’ve seen this subject float around over the forum from 2017. But I did not see if anything happened to it. It would be great if we would have the option to optimize the media and not have to burn in the subtitles. I like to have the option for different subtitle languages.
I saw that this is (sort of) possible with the preset optimize options, but this only works with srt subtitles and not with original resolution and bitrate preset.
Hopefully, this is something that can be worked on.
