when I optimize videos for TV it works great and solves slow start issues on my Roku. However the optimized versions are about the same size as the originals so I’m using double the hard drive space. I tried deleting the original version and keeping the optimized but to my surprise as soon as I update those files and empty the trash PLEX deletes the optimized versions too!
I realize a workaround would be to move those optimized out of PLEX, delete the originals anc clean up, then put the optimized versions back in and rescan them. But that is time consuming.
Shouldn’t PLEX include an option to delete the originals after creating the optimized? Or at least NOT delete the optimized without asking?
