Optimizing doesnt work

Hi Guys,

I selected one TV Show and pressed optimize. I chose “optmize for TV” and chose the 1080 8 Mbit option.
Now the optimiziation is done.
But if I use my plex app on my android phone and I chose the 8 Mbit 1080p Transcoding, my host still uses multiple transcoding processes, which increase my CPU Core usage to ~100%

What did I wrong?

Why did you not choose “Optimize for Mobile” ?
It is the first item in the list .

Because I wanted to optimize it for my fire tv stick and I just wanted to test it on my phone. This shouldn’t have a inpact if I chose the specific resolution and Mbit ?

May I see the DEBUG log ZIP file please?

Best logs for me are:

  1. Start Playback
  2. Play 20 seconds
  3. Stop Playback
  4. Wait 20 seconds
  5. Download the Logs ZIP file
  6. Attach it here for me to review.

I should be able to see the playback and why it felt the need to further transcode.

I suspect hardware transcoding isn’t enabling. The logs will confirm this.
