Option to automatically prefer subbed to dubbed

Our family watch a lot of anime and foreign flicks and much prefer the original language with subtitles over usually terrible dubs.

The current language options in Plex Server don’t accommodate this kind of setup and I don’t want to have to delete the extraneous audio and subtitles from the source files to coerce Plex into choosing the only available components.

Selecting audio and subs in preferred language doesn’t cut it as audio language will vary while subs should only be selected if the audio language isn’t the default (eg English in my case).

The program logic seems pretty straightforward in my head so hoping this suggestion gets a guernsey.

Go for subbed as there would be authenticity and dubbed usually involves a reframing of meaning and sentence

You always want the original language audio.
When the audio language is not English, you want English subtitles.

Right?

Yes but if there is an English and foreign track there is no way to default to the foreign language.
