I would like an option to have higher quality posters and images for Tv’s / Movies. Once you start to view the standard ones on a larger tv, the poor resolution of these images really shows. This I feel detracts from the overall quality of the plex user experience.
This does appear to be a per client issue. So the Nvidea shield client, on a 60" tv looks ok @ 1080p, where as the Roku one, and the Opera one look terrible.
@iforgot I can’t speak for the Opera client, but the Roku UI was limited to 720p. We just released an update to the Plex Pass channel that adds 1080p UI resolution support. You will need a Roku that supports 1080p UI resolution though, otherwise it’ll still be 720p. Right now that is limited to the Roku 4, Roku 4k TVs, Premiere, Premiere+ and the Ultra (hardware limitation).
Thanks @ljunkie , I had older roku 3’s replaced most of them with Nvidea shields, but the opera tv client well thats got lots of issues. (the inbuilt one in hisense tv)
