So let me start by saying I’m glad Plex implemented the “Skip every intro after X seconds” option for TV shows. Works great for pretty much everything (credits can be more hit or miss, but that’s neither here nor there). I can have playlists going and not have to worry about intros.
BUT, I started a rewatch of Peacemaker, and it has one of my favorite intros and I always try to watch it (and crank the volume). Unfortunately, I usually miss the chance to NOT skip and have to rewind, because it’s not an intro at the beginning and is random.
So my suggestion is providing a ‘per show’ option to set whether Plex should skip the intro or not when you’re editing a show (likely under ‘advanced’). Akin to movie collections and ‘Collection Mode->Library Default/Hide Items/Show Collection/Hide Collection’ modes.
Maybe an “Intro Sequence->Library Default/Always Skip/Never Skip” option. Could also do for credits as well, now that I’m thinking about it.
